“Safeguarding and Strengthening The Mind” with Dandapani
May 5, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT
In the days, weeks, and months ahead you will be forced to make many difficult decisions. Sometimes even on a daily basis. You will find yourself in situations you’ve never been in before. The state of your mind will dictate how you respond to each situation and what decisions you make. Both of these have consequences which you, your loved ones, and business must live with. Dandapani will share insights and tools to safeguard mental health and strengthen your mind during the COVID-19 crisis. These insights and tools are helpful for your family and teams as well.
About the Speaker
Dandapani is a Hindu priest, entrepreneur and a former monk of 10 years. After graduating from university with a degree in Electrical Engineering he left it all behind to become a Hindu monk under the guidance of one of Hinduism’s foremost spiritual leaders of our time, Sivaya Subramuniyaswami. For 10 years he lived a life of serious personal discipline and training at his guru’s cloistered monastery in Hawaii.
When his vows expired, he chose to venture out into the world making New York City his home. He works with entrepreneurs and some of the top athletes in the world in helping them understand and leverage their minds so that they can be the best at what they do. He does this by empowering them with tools and teachings that have been used by Hindu monks of his tradition for thousands of years. Among his clients are companies such as Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Nike, Trivago, Fortress Investment Group, ICONIQ, McKinsey, and more.
He has been speaking to EO for the last eight years and has done over 80 events globally for the organization. He is one of EO’s most highly-rated speakers and has done many repeat events for chapters.
He and his wife are also passionately creating a 33-acre spiritual sanctuary and botanical garden in Costa Rica to further their mission.
