“Humanize Communication During Remote Work While COVID-19” In Collaboration with The Arbinger Institute: Beth Hannan

May 7, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT

As organizations adjust and shift to remote work during a time of crisis, micro- and macro-silos threaten workplace culture. Individuals suddenly working from home, or in an empty workspace, feel disconnected and disengaged while teams and departments similarly struggle to collaborate and align laterally. In this session, Beth will teach the mindset model and provide specific tools to improve communication and sustain personal interaction while working remotely or in new situations.

About the Speaker:

Beth Hannan is a consultant and facilitator dedicated to helping organizations orchestrate programs and strategies to maximize growth and impact. With more than ten years of experience in the healthcare and non-profit sectors, Beth’s background ranges from supporting grief-stricken families in the most challenging of times to helping tech entrepreneurs identify their value proposition and mentoring young professionals as they become leaders in their communities. Prior to working with Arbinger, Beth developed and led high-performing teams at various organizations to increase the number of organ transplants done for needy recipients. Beth was a key influencer and leader who was able to inspire and motivate others to have a greater impact, even in high-stress environments. Beth earned a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and an executive master’s degree in leadership from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
