Sustainable vs. Unsustainable Workshop

EO Partnered with the United Nations 3 years ago to help EO companies understand and implement the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In this workshop, we start with an introduction from EO NY member Steve Disante who will show his short film on what the SDGs are and how entrepreneurs are using them now.

Afterward, stay for the optional workshop where you’ll dive into your business and how you can create impact.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Stephen Distante is the Founder and Chairman of Vanderbilt Financial Group, a disruptor in finance focused on socially and environmentally responsible, ethical, and impactful investments. A leader of leaders, Steve shares his unique message of entrepreneurship with purpose as an engaging keynote speaker, a filmmaker, an ambassador to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and through the online educational platform he pioneered, Impact U.

Steve also helps to prop up the entrepreneurial community. As a former President of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) of New York City, Steve recently founded the new EO Long Island chapter. Named as the United Nations Global Ambassador of EO, Steve represents entrepreneurs working across the globe on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a collection of 17 global goals set to transform the world by the year 2030. Steve champions the SDGs in EO, Vanderbilt, and Impact U as a tool to foster conversation and collective action towards a better world.
